The Meadville Public Library is hosting its highly anticipated Annual Fall Used Book Sale, offering an incredible selection of general fiction, non-fiction, young adult titles, children’s picture books, and audiobooks—all available by donation. The main sale is free and open to the public during the following hours: Thursday, November 5: 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM Friday, November 6: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM Saturday, November 7: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM Want first choice before the general public? An exclusive Pre-Sale event on Wednesday, November 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. gives a select group of attendees early access to the entire inventory. VIP Perks: Early entry, light hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and live music performed by local musician Paul Groh. Admission: $20 ticket purchased at the door. Registration: Space is strictly limited to the first 30 people who pre-register online. Interested attendees must secure their spot in advance by registering at meadvillelibrary.org. The book sale will take place on the top floor of the Meadville Public Library, located at 848 N. Main St., Meadville, PA 16335. To ensure an accessible experience for all patrons, an accessibility entrance is located on the right (north) side of the building. Entering through the Children's Room provides direct access to the elevator leading up to the top floor sale room. Shoppers are asked to bring their own reusable shopping bags to transport their finds. Every donation made during the sale directly funds the library’s programs and services, providing critical literacy initiatives and engaging summer events for local children and families.
