Description
Every class in the academy will servein the community for the day as follows:
pre-school - cleaning at school
first grade - Juniper Village and an activity at school
second grade - Crawfird County Care Center and Common Grounds
third grade - Wesbury and Roche Park
fourth grade - Port Farms
Fifth grade - MARC and Greendale
sixth grade - Meadville soup kitchen, reading to young students at First District, and an activity at school
seventh grade - Edinboro Camp and Conference Center
eighth grade - Mystic Mountain Training Center
ninth grade - Stainbrook Park and Roche Park
tenth grade - Miracle Mountain Ranch
eleventh grade - Slippery Rock Baptist Camp
twelfth grade - Erie City Mission
- 2 classes will help pack bags for Charis Cupboard, a paper products ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, and emergency Red Cross bags
- Several fast food restaurants donate meals for the students-Burger King, Dairy Queen, Pizza Joes and Vocellis.
- The other classes will be fed by the places they are going.
